How To Word Bachelorette Party Invitations Funny

One hundred and fifty

beginning of March, I walked in the center of Barletta with my good friend Mariano, waiting time for dinner in a typical restaurant.
How novel Peripatetics (Aristotle forgive the improper touching), holds forth, between the Swabian castle and the bronze statue of Heraclius, on subjects of various kinds. Among these, Mariano told me of his commitments around the Puglia in view of events for the sesquicentennial of the unification of Italy, to his office within the military administration to which it belongs.

On topic, Mariano has expressed a doubt midway between the demand and success: "He still makes sense to celebrate the unification of Italy?".

was not able to respond effectively, at that time. Then other issues have focused our attention and the evening and spun without mentioning doubt Mariano.

Approaching March 17, that doubt has been on a gripped my mind.

He still makes sense to celebrate the unification of Italy?

For some time I have the impression, unfortunately very often confirmed by the facts, that this country is adrift, that is losing positions, not only from an economic standpoint, but also the deterioration in the quality of life and especially for the cultural decay.

It is childish to say the least, indicate the political class which is responsible for this decay.

I'd also say that, in some ways, wrong to do so.

are several decades that the policy no longer reflects the greek sense of the word (πόλις - Polis - City - understood as an organization, art and science of government and administration of the city and as the system based on the classic greek city-state, just extended to the State), but has become a tool for their own interests and possibly those of the lobby (English word that could be translated as "pressure group" or "interest group" to indicate a set of specific individuals to guide the policy choices of government in their favor, especially in the economic field and reflects the liberal, individualistic and Anglo-Saxon and North American commercial culture in general) to which they belong.

The political class in full, without exception, is only interested in treating their own interests.

However, if it does it's because we citizens have allowed him, because we have no interest in the management of public affairs (from the Latin res publica - than you should, our Western civilization, the legacy greek-roman! ), because in fact we have taken advantage of because we took refuge in private, I think that many did not change anything, that you gentlemen would continue - as in fact they continued - to make them comfortable.

The fault is not so much of politicians - caste - as ours that those politicians have left a large delegation.

We have paid attention only to defend our backyard, small or great privileges that we have acquired over time, the rights that we demand, the benefits we enjoy, the benefices and pensions they receive, without dealing with the those who live close to us, other, of the Community of the Nation State.

What's the point - then - to celebrate the unification of Italy?

Yet there is a sense.

This sense we can not find in the organized political parties that in the current practice, are certainly not locked in the rooms of the Big Brother television and even between the lines of Official Sports.

Maybe it appears in a history book.

A book that tells us milleottantotto idealists, under the command of a true revolutionary, who started from fourth and landed at Marsala, going over the peninsula to gather people for too long was divided and laughed at this.
That tells us immersed in the mud of the trenches where a people in arms, from many different dialects, it is known, finding for the first time together to face one of the most powerful and famous empires of Europe.
That tells of a man, the creator - for better or for worse - an evolution of the state, provincial extension of a small kingdom, and widespread organized structure of a nation.
That tells us of a war, perhaps wrong, certainly unfortunate, very tragic, that he sent to the slaughterhouse, with few resources and limited supplies, thousands of kids, the dunes of the African desert or the burning haze of the Russian plains.
That tells us of men and women who have fought hard, some to regain freedom and democracy, for those who remain faithful to a man and an ideal, a fratricide, no holds barred.
That tells us a referendum on institutional first electoral test after years of totalitarianism, which marked the end of a dynasty, even after this great efforts for the unification of Italy.
That tells us cinquecentocinquatasei constituents, elected by universal suffrage in the newfound democracy, the Constitution aims to elaborate on where you are - or should be based - the Laws of the Republic.
That tells us of a large group of servants, who sacrificed the most valuable asset life, to fight the mafia, real cancer of this country.
That tells us a lot of guys who have worn the uniform, often by necessity, sometimes for an ideal, died in distant lands, in missions that persist in calling them "peace", whose confidence waver even opportunity begins those in which desired.

Here, the meaning is found in these one hundred and fifty years of history.

should be familiar with their roots and the sacrifice of those who preceded us, to appreciate what we have and submit it intact as much as possible, to those who come after us.

We need a genuine, healthy and vigorous cultural revolution to flourish, emancipate, redeem the Italian people.

There are many difficulties, as are many people who are against.

is an adventure.

adventure began one hundred and fifty years ago.
